Alban started working at the “Riinvest” Institute in 2006 after working in the banking system for a while. Currently, he holds the position of the Executive Director at the “Riinvest” Institute. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Pristina, Alban continued his Masters and PhD studies at Staffordshire University in the UK, in the area of corruption and property transformation.Within the “Riinvest” Institute, Alban has been involved in many research projects related to the country’s socio- economic issues, including, among others, the issue of privatization, corporate governance, corruption, energy, and business environment. Besides, Alban regularly publishes in scientific journals and participates in international conferences on the topics of industrial democracy and property transformation. He is also a lecturer at the Riinvest College where he covers
several subjects related to economics.

Currently Chairman of Riinvest’s Board, Sejdi Osmani is one of the founders of the Institute. He has been engaged in management positions and as a project manager for many Institute projects: Riinvest Institute Executive Director (2004-2009); Administrative Director at Riinvest (2001-2004); manager of several projects in the field of local economic development; Project coordinator, team member of many research projects. He is the author of about 20 articles related to fiscal policy and tax system, author of a series of works in the field of public administration, privatization, corporate governance, local administration and public services. He has a rich experience in the field of publications: Editor of weekly magazine for young people “Voice of Youth” (1978-1982); editor of more than 30 publications and author and co-author of approximately 30 research reports drafted by Riinvest Institue. He participated in a series of national and international conferences.

Professor Mustafa is Co-founder of Riinvest Institute (1995), and served as its president until 2010. For two mandates (2010-2017) was an MP at Kosovo Assembly (non - party affiliated) and chaired the Comity for Economic Development, and Trade and Industry. Currently senior fellow at Riinvest Institute. Experienced also in leading and managing projects within engagements at Riinvest Institute (more than 40 reports published). He published 10 University textbooks and monographs. He is lecturing Development Management, Strategies and Policies of Economic Development and has been involved in designing and managing public policies.

Research Interests: Development Management, Public Policies, Business Environment; Strategy Post –Conflict Reconstruction and Restructuring.

Saxhide Mustafa holds the position of Senior Associate. Saxhide is part of Riinvest since 2003, when she started working as an administrative assistant. She graduated from the Faculty of Law - University of Prishtina (2004), then completed her MA studies at Riinvest College with the topic "Corporate Governance and Transparency in Public Companies at the Local Level - Case Study Termokos JSC" (2011). In 2019, she successfully completed her doctoral studies at the Public University of Tirana - Faculty of Economics, with the topic "Corporate Governance and Performance of companies in Kosovo". Since 2011 she is a lecturer at Riinvest College in the subjects of: Business Law, Business Ethics at BA level and Management at MA level. She has attended several trainings in the field of Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Accountability, Transparency (IFC / SDC), Women in Leadership - program attended in Kosovo and Washington, funded by USAID, Innovation Management - Faculty Ljubljana Economic, in the field of entrepreneurship and in the field of higher education within the TEMPUS, CONSUS and ERASMUS projects. She also has over 10 years of experience in research projects in the field of corporate governance, local economic development, women's economic empowerment, etc.

Visar has joined the Institute in July 2014 in the capacity of the advanced researcher. Visari has completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Prishtina in the field of Management. Moreover, he is a graduate with a master’s degree from the University of Nottingham in the UK in Development Economics and Economic Policy Analysis with particular focus on trade policies. In 2019, Visar completed his doctoral studies in ecnomomics at the Marche Polytechnic University in Ancona, with a focus on international economics. Visar is also engaged as a lecturer in International Economic System and the European economy at Riinvest College. Prior to joining Riinvest, Visar has worked in various institutions whether in the private or public sector in Kosovo including the banking sector , the privatization process in Kosovo , UNDP projects , the EBRD , and the World Bank , and also the Government. Furthermore, Visar has been engaged in various research and advocacy activities related to open government, Kosovo's export potential, market development in food processing industry, and many other projects related to the development of the private sector.

Pëllumb is part of the Riinvest Institute since 2019, after a long experience in Kosovo’s banking sector, and international research experience. He currently holds the position of Senior Research Associate. He holds double BSc from the University of Pristina, Economics, and Political Science, MSc in Finance and Banking, and PhD in Economics and Finance from Sapienza University of Rome with a focus on the economics of foreign direct investment (FDI). Within the Riinvest Institute, Pëllumb has been involved in research projects related to socio-economic issues both in Kosovo and Western Balkans region, among others in the issues of economic growth and development, regional cooperation, monetary and fiscal policies, etc. Pëllumb is also engaged as a lecturer in International Political Economy, Development Management, and Sustainable Economics at Riinvest College. His main research interests include FDI, international trade, economic development, regional cooperation and integration in Western Balkans, and social policy. He actively publishes his research in international scientific journals, and actively participates in international conferences.

Gent Beqiri works for Riinvest Institute since August 2008 and since then has been involved in research and economic analysis, market studies, business plans and feasibility studies for businesses as well as SME and local economic development. Gent’s focus is on the management and implementation of various surveys primarily of the ones for SMEs. Namely, he is focused on the preparation of samples for conducting surveys, designing questionnaires, and training of enumerators, process monitoring survey and data processing, extraction of advanced statistical analysis and data interpretation. Lately, his full commitment concentrates on creating a platform accessible by the general public, platform which contains and unites all Riinvest’s statistical data since its founding. At Riinvest College, Gent is working as a lecturer in the subjects of Management and Statistics since 2009. He holds a BA and MA in Economic Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Prishtina.

Halim Mahmuti holds the position of Researcher at Riinvest Institute for Development Research. He is responsible for the identification, preparation of proposals, and project activities. He has involved in many research projects related to Labour Market, Municipalities Competitiveness Index and the Local Development. Also, Halimi is engaged as a teaching assistant for modules of Development Economics and Economics of European Integration at Riinvest College. He also holds a master's and bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Riinvest College in Kosovo. His mother tongue is Albanian, being fluent also in English.

Tringë Shkodra is a dedicated researcher with over five years of experience in data analysis and research methodologies, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainable development. As a researcher at Riinvest Institute, she has contributed to policy analysis, economic research, and the development of tools to support public procurement and business digitalization. With a Master’s degree in Financial Information Systems, Tringë combines technical expertise with a commitment to advancing energy efficiency and fostering inclusive growth. Her work extends to nonprofit initiatives, promoting education, poverty alleviation, and community development.

Alma started working at Riinvest Institute in 2022. She currently holds the position of a researcher. After completing her university studies at the University of Pristina in the Applied Economics and Management program and at Hamk University in Finland, she is now pursuing her master's studies in Economics. Before joining the Riinvest Institute, Alma worked in the office for research and sponsored projects at the University of Pristina and also engaged in several projects and trainings.

Among other things, she helps in various research projects, the organization of conferences, debates and workshops, helps researchers in the preparation and implementation of research instruments, prepares other articles including reports and presentations and participates in meetings, keeping in touch with other parties.

Alma believes that her research findings can have a positive impact on a variety of societal aspects, from solving social, cultural and health challenges to fostering scientific and technological advances that can have global implications.

Benet has completed his Bachelor's studies in Management and Informatics at the University of Pristina. Currently, he is continuing his master's degree studies in the same field, while he has professional experience both in the private sector and in civil society. At the Riinvest Institute, he is engaged as a Researcher, where his main focus is on extracting, analyzing, modeling, and interpreting data from quantitative and qualitative research. Benet is also involved in other activities related to the Institute's projects.

Erisa Kallaba has finished Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management at University of Prishtina. Erisa joined Riinvest Institute in 2022 as a Research Assistant. Previously she has been employed as an Audit Analyst at Deloitte and Research Intern at GAP Institute. Erisa has been a Local Researcher for a Project organized by Bonn International Centre for Conflict Studies with the topic of “Reintegration Trajectories in the context of high mobility: An exchange between research and practice”.

At the Institute, Erisa mainly deals with the organization of Green School which aims to cover environmental topics under the project Green Action Space. She also deals with organizing meetings and conferences and helping the researchers prepare reports for publication. Recently she has joined other regional projects such as BFC (Business Friendly Certification), which is a unique program that improves the quality of services and information that municipalities in the SEE region offer to companies.

Isren Fejzullahu is head of finance at the Riinvest Institute. Isren is part of Riinvest since 2004, when he started working in the position of an accountant. He completed his undergraduate studies at Faculty of Economics and MA studies (Banks, Finance and Accounting) at the University of Zagreb in 1994, and MA studies (in Management) in 2010, at Riinvest College. Isren also completed the first level of certification as an Accounting Technician in 2006 and the second level as a Certified Accountant in 2008, at the Association of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo (SHKACK - SCAAK). Isren holds the position of as a Financial Manager since 2008. Besides his work at Riinvest Institute, he also teaches subjects in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Analysis at Riinvest College since 2007. He has attended several trainings such as: The strategy of public funding of NGOs held in Kosovo and in Budapest, Hungary, funded by USAID, and much other training which have certainly influenced his work and further helped with advancement and professionalism.

Eranda joined the Institute in 2001 in the position of administrative assistant. Later, with the success achieved at work, accuracy and the gained confidence, she joined the Office of Finance in the position of financial assistant, a position which she holds now for about 10 years. Eranda is responsible for the identification and reporting and finances for all of the Institute projects.

Mensur holds the position of logistics officer since 1995.He completed the economics high school. Mensur has worked in Germany for five years in the construction sector. At Riinvest Institute his responsibilities are supplying offices with the necessary materials , and based on the project needs, care for the supply and maintenance of inventory within the institution , postal deliveries etc. Mensur is also responsible for the institution’s archive.

Is part of Riinvest since 2007 holding the position of a receptionist. She completed high school and also some training on the administration office while in the US. Being part of the administration for 8 years, Merita has successfully managed to fulfill her work commitment based on professional ethics. Except being responsible for the director’s daily agenda and direct communication with staff and clients, covers photocopying jobs, scanning, and organizing of different events. Merita facilitates in preparing the discussion tables, conferences, seminars and workshops.
