The Riinvest Institute, in cooperation with the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw), organized a policy roundtable on evidence-based tobacco taxation reforms in Kosovo.
The roundtable brought together representatives of public institutions, experts, and researchers to discuss the role of tobacco taxation policies in protecting public health and strengthening public revenues.

The discussion focused on international evidence regarding the effectiveness of tobacco taxation in reducing tobacco consumption, particularly among young people, as well as on opportunities to further advance existing tobacco taxation policies in Kosovo through an evidence-based approach.
The Riinvest Institute remains committed to promoting evidence-based policymaking and fostering dialogue among institutions, experts, and relevant stakeholders to address challenges that affect the well-being of citizens
